Spokane Infielder Will Manage Team
SPOKANE, Jan. 11—Carl Bush, a first baseman who hit .289 for Spokane in the Western International League last season, has been named manager of the Mattoon, Ill. Baseball club in the Class D Mississippi-Ohio Valley League.
Roy Hotchkiss, president of the Spokane Indians, made the disclosure Monday. Both Spokane and Mattoon have working agreements with the Philadelphia Phillies of the National League.
