Hittle Joins Eskimos

EDMONTON, Dec. 24—Edmonton Eskimos of the class A Western International Baseball League announced today the purchase of pitcher Dale Hittle, 24, of Lodi, California.
Hittle, purchased from the New York Yankees, is a righthander who played last season with Quincy of the class B Three Eye League. He won seven, lost six and had an earned run average of 4.14.
