Broncs Add a Pair on Eve of Spring Camp

Training Camp Soon
Two Training Camps To Open At Lewiston
LEWISTON, March 24— Lewiston of the Western International League and Pocatello of the Pioneer League, will open spring baseball training in two separate camps here Friday, but there will be close liaison between the two clubs during training.
The two teams have working agreements with each other and with Baltimore of the American League. Many players that start working out in one camp are expected to switch to the other camp before the start of season play.
The Class-A Lewiston club announced the signing of two more players the day before start of practice, to bring the total so far to 23. The additions are Russell Rosburg, outfielder on option from Baltimore who batted .332 in the Class A Western League last year; and Al Heist, who played at center field with Lewiston last year on option from St. Louis. Heist led the WIL in triples with 17 last year.
The first week of drills at the two camps will be primarily for pitchers and catchers. Larry Barton, Lewiston field boss, will be general manager of the combined camps, with Butch Moran, Pocatello manager, assisting.
