Esks Ready For Spring Game

LINDSAY, Tularo Co.—Manager Bobby Sturgeon sent his Edmonton Eskimos through a four hour practice session yesterday in preparation for the opening spring training game in Fresno Wednesday night, against the Fresno State College Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs win play a return game here April 12th. The Eskimos team is a member of the Western International class A league.
John Conant, righthanded pitcher who won 24 for the Eskimos last year, arrived in ramp and sailed through a 20 minute batting practice session on the mound yesterday.
Other pitchers here are Jack Widner, Don Kirk, Pete Boisvert, Larry Manier, Frank Cirimeli and Dale Hittle. Infielders are Dwayne Kling, Whitey Thomson and Sturgeon. The catchers are Tom Self and Don Prentiss [sic].
