One Little, Two Little, 14 Little....

Spokane Puts 14 Players on Block
SPOKANE, Monday, Sept. 28 — The Spokane Indians put 14 players up for sale Monday and the Chronicle said it is "the first step toward liquidation" of the Western International League Baseball club.
Owner Roy Hotchkiss, who has said he's about ready to give up the game here because of poor attendance, said sale of the players doesn't necessarily mean Spokane will not have baseball in 1954.
