Vanni Holds Job
PASCO, Wash., Nov. 3 — Edo Vanni, Playing-manager for Tri-City Braves in the Western International Baseball League in 1953, will have the same position next season, Harold Matheson said Tuesday.
Matheson, president of the Tri-City Athletic Association, said Vanni has agreed to terms fo a new contract and is expected to sign at the WIL meeting at Victoria Saturday and Sunday.
The Braves are still seeking a general manager to replace Len Monheimer. Eddie Taylor, coach fro the Seattle Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League, is said to be in line for the position.
