Eskimos Cut Expenses

Pitching Coach Luxury, Says Edmonton’s Ducey
EDMONTON, Oct. 9 (CP)—General manager John Ducey of the Edmonton Eskimos of the Western International Baseball League announced Friday the release of George Caster of California, a pitching coach, and Brent McNab of Vermilion, Alta., a spare catcher signed late in the 1953 season.
Ducey said Caster proved helpful as a coach but his club cannot afford such a luxury as a non-play coach.
